Our Whole House Paint Colour Scheme service ensures harmonious colours and visual flow throughout your home. This holistic approach avoids the jarring or piecemeal effects that can result when decorating, often for practical reasons, room by room. Our whole house paint palette service starts with an anchor colour scheme in paints for walls, ceilings and woodwork. This could be applied to the halls and landings or the entrance lobby. Skirtings and architraves, in period properties, maintain flow between rooms, whether painted in dark, colourful, muted or neutral shades. From here, we extrapolate outwards, adding toning or contrasting colours and shades for the walls of adjoining rooms, each of which complements the next. When choosing a palette, I consider your tastes and preferences, room function, daylight levels and orientation. Of course, you can introduce patterns later (wallpapers, for example) once the whole house paint palette is chosen. N.B. If relevant, I also include exterior paint colours, taking into account the setting and style of the property. Following an on-site consultation, I assemble your unique, anchor scheme of paints for walls, ceilings and woodwork with paint colours for each room of your house. These are presented on a sample board with pricing information and supplier details. BEST FOR: Undecorated new builds. Whole house redecoration or renovation projects (especially if you plan to carry out the work in stages or on a room-by-room basis!) WHAT YOU GET: A 60-90 minute on-site design consultation where we walk through the different rooms of your home and discuss your design needs, colour preferences, paint brands and budget. Sent within 4 weeks of your on-site consultation: Whole house colour palette board. The assembled paint colour samples will answer your design brief (colour-wise) and budget (brands-wise). Each sample will be annotated with the relevant paint brand or retail source and include pricing information. COST: £375 flat rate fee (for houses with up to five bedrooms). Following receipt of your booking request, I will contact you by phone to say a quick hello, confirm the date and time of your on-site design consultation and send a pre-payment link.
