Blue & Neutral Dining Room

This semi-open-plan dining space connected to downstairs hallways, an open-plan kitchen/living space and, in addition, had double doors leading to a main entrance hall and sliding doors to a garden terrace. Flow was achieved by keeping all the downstairs tiling the same - large Provençal-style porcelain tiles from Mandarin Stone. A linear, geometric wallpaper from Cole & Son in soft, neutral tones arched across the ceiling and down the walls. Giant metal downlighters provided soft, atmospheric mood lighting over the dining table. French-style, cabriole-legged, dining chairs were painted and re-upholstered in blue, cream and neutral tones. Mirrored and metallic accessories added sparkle and decorative interest.
